The Trusted Driveway & Patio Cleaning Service in Edinburgh

First impressions matter and if you agree, then you can see why your home’s driveway and patio areas need to be clean and well-maintained at all times. Inclement weather, various air pollutants, and constant foot traffic can quickly lead to the accumulation of dirt, dust, and some pretty unsightly moss, mildew, and algae. Over time and left unchecked, the driveway and patio areas start to look dull and patchy, as well as feel quite slippery under wet conditions.

You don’t want that to happen but who’s got time these days? Between work and school and kids plus everything in between, we barely have enough free time to enjoy the things we like, let alone spend it on things that we’d rather not be doing.

With Window Shine, your driveway and patio will be professionally cleaned and the curb appeal refreshed in a fraction of the time it will take you to do the job yourself. For years, we have been the Driveway and patio cleaning service of choice to residents across Edinburgh, including Dalgety Bay, North Queensferry, Crossgates, Rosyth, Cairneyhill, Dunfermline, and other neighboring areas. As a family-run business, we put our combined experience to proper use and have perfected our various techniques to make your patios and driveways look like new again.

Driveway & Patio Cleaning From the Pros

Window Shine is an all-around professional cleaning and restoration company, meaning we know exactly what needs to be done when it comes to making your property look its best. We use a combination of advanced high pressure cleans and delicate, specialized washes to restore your home’s driveway and patio to a standard that most other companies simply can’t achieve.

Using our lineup of specially formulated cleaning solutions and state of the art equipment, the Window Shine team will scrub away the dirt and algae, lichen and moss growths from the exterior surfaces around your home or workplace. This means we don’t stop at your driveway and patio alone but can also clean exterior surfaces, such as wood decking, tarmac, concrete and brickwork of any kind. Our cleaning service is designed to remove the dirt, but keep the varnish and colouring of the surface intact.

Other Benefits

Newly cleaned patio and driveway areas provide instant curb appeal. But we go a step further to enhance that fresh look by applying a sealant designed to make your driveway or patio look more elegant and keep them cleaner for longer.

We work around your convenience and get the job done quickly and efficiently. We understand the value of your time so we go all out to guarantee your satisfaction. We’re only happy about a job when the customer is ecstatic with the results. We don’t leave your premises until you are completely satisfied with the work done.

John and his boys done an amazing job of my block paving driveway. All i can say is that it has went from looking like it should be replaced to looking brand new in less than a day. I would have no hesitation in recommending John’s company to anyone who needs a driveway cleaner in Edinburgh.

Driveway & Patio Cleaning Services in Edinburgh – Areas We Serve

We clean driveways and patios throughout Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.

EH1 – Mostly consists of Edinburgh’s Old Town. Also hosts the old GPO building (at EH1 1AA) and the areas immediately to the north of this are also included, that is St. James Centre and the areas down Leith Street and Broughton Street.

EH2 – The New Town and central commercial area of Edinburgh which includes Princes Street.
EH3 – An odd shaped area surrounding EH1 and EH2 to the north, west and south. It can be divided into three distinct areas:

  • The New Town area, north of Queen Street and northwards to Stockbridge.
  • The West End, including some of Edinburgh’s financial district
  • The Tollcross and Fountainbridge areas.

EH4 – Radiates from the older and more central areas out to the suburban areas added to them, as the city grew outwards during the 20th century. EH4, then, branches out from Dean Village and Comely Bank along a corridor centred on the A90 as far as Barnton and Cramond. Central to this area is the Sainsbury’s in Craigleith Retail Park adjacent to the A90.

EH5 – Based on a village formerly separate from the city; in this case, Granton on the Firth of Forth. EH5 extends inwards from the coast to Ferry Road.
EH6 – Covers Leith, as well as Newhaven bordering it on the west.
EH7 – The inner city area between central Edinburgh and Leith, and radiates out to Restalrig and Craigentinny.
EH8 – The inner city Southside, Newington and Canongate areas, in the west of the postcode area. It spreads eastwards around Holyrood Park to take in areas like Abbeyhill and Mountcastle; being in east Edinburgh these areas have no obvious connection with the Southside. However the postcode effectively takes in the area surrounding Holyrood Park.
EH9 – The inner city, Marchmont and Grange, Blackford and around Minto Street, including Causewayside.
EH10 – A corridor along the A702 from Bruntsfield, through Morningside as far as Fairmilehead.
EH11 – A corridor (rather thin in shape) along the A71 from Haymarket Station, through Gorgie and Stenhouse to Sighthill and the Calders.
EH12 – A corridor along the A8 from Haymarket through Murrayfield and Corstorphine as far as the Gyle.
EH13 – Based on the previously separate village of Colinton, and including Oxgangs.

EH14 – A corridor in south-west Edinburgh starting at Slateford, through Longstone, Wester Hailes, Juniper Green, Currie and on to Balerno.
EH15 – Based on Portobello and Duddingston, formerly separate settlements to Edinburgh.
EH16 – Based on the formerly separate village of Liberton. It extends north and north-east to Cameron Toll, Craigmillar and Niddrie.
EH17 – Based on the formerly separate village of Gilmerton, taking in Moredun and extending westwards as far as Mortonhall.
